Things to Keep in Mind

If you are looking for a pressure washing contractor when cleaning a parking garage there are a few things you should keep in mind. First off, a parking garage is made up in most cases entirely of concrete. When dealing with concrete you should look for a contractor that uses machines equipped with hot water. Cleaning concrete with hot water as opposed to a standard cold water machine will not only save you time and in turn money but will result in a better outcome. Secondly, take a look at your drainage situation. Any parking garage should have an adequate number of drains placed throughout the premises but one or more drains can be clogged. In our experience it is difficult to unclog most drains but occasionally the pipe may be clogged, not the drain so this could present an issue.

All parking garages are designed for proper water runoff but in almost every case it is not built perfectly so expect some puddling in certain areas, especially if a drain is clogged. Make sure your contractor has at least one water pump and water brooms/squeegees to mitigate these drainage issues. The catch 22 with hiring a pressure washing contractor for parking garages is the vehicle(s) needed to carry multiple hot water pressure washers, water tanks, water recycling machines, and water pumps will have to be large, most likely a box truck that will be too large to fit in a parking garage. So, make sure you have parking close by.
